Jojot challenged us to make a masculine sympathy card. Hmm, a double dog dare if you ask me, sympathy cards are difficult and a masculine one at that? Well I gave it some thought and figured I would make what I call a four square card. I used DP by SEI, it is actually Christmas paper but I thought the browns and pine cones work nicely for the challenge. I stamped branches from Best Blossoms in chocolate and then sponged with old olive. My sentiment is from the dollar stamps at M's, it had a flower on it which I did not use. Black ribbon as the austere embellishment and done! Thanks Joanne for a great challenge and thank YOU for looking!!!

NR, I think that your four sqare card is to die for gorgeous. I love the deep rich colors, the leaves look awesome on this card and the sentiment is perfect.
Hugs, Nicole
p.s. I didn't see your card in the StampinB gallery at SCS today?
This is gorgeous!
