Shadows of Memories in Orange and Grey

I created my own bg paper using the very beautiful images in this set. I also added asian charms and pearls to complement the Eastern feel to this card. I love the way this turned out and hope you like it too!!!

I had my Mom's cat Georgia in mind when I made this card using the set *Speedy the Cat's Friends*. I trimmed down the ears to make her look more like the domestic shorthair she is, and colored her with peasrlescent watercolor paints available at MFP! She has little bits of white on her which I achieved by using a white gel pen. Do you see the poor little mpouse hanging out of her mouth.... YIKES!

I used the set *Spring and Easter 2010* to create this ethereal butterfly card. The technique is called a Wiper Card and the little piece on the top pops up wehn you open it! I think they are so much fun! I stamped the butterfly in black staz on on basic grey dp, and my other butterflies are embossed in gold and colored with a gold gel pen. I hope you enjoy this breath of spring, even if the groundhog says there will be six more weeks of winter!

About Me

My photo
Hi everyone! My Name is Nancy Levine, known as NANCYRUTH on SCS. I have began stamping 20 years ago, though I put everything in the attic for about 10 of those during the hectic years of my single motherhood. I went to a stamping up party about 5 years ago and the stamping flame was rekindled and i have stamped almost every day since then. I work full time in a lighting store and enjoy my career in sales which allows me to fund my crafting habits. I am also a beader and spend my free time stamping, swimming and making jewelry! I look forward to charting my creative journey through my new blog. Fast forward.... After 13 months of unemployment due to the economic downturn I completed my Therapeutic Recreation certification and now work in a skilled nursing facility creating and implementing recreational programs for the residents. I also had the priviledge of working at Beadz Boutique in Darien Ct. where I fine tuned many of my beading skills!
