My goal is to have a more positive attitude about things. I am always dwelling on the negative (my husband deploying, work being hard, etc) and not looking at all the positives in my life!!!

Happy New Year!!!

My goal was to not make resolutions that I've always made and broke by Feb 1. Rather than that, I made a list of "hopes" for 2009. The top one was to spend more time with hubby, children, family and friends!

I know exactly what you mean about crying when your daughter left. My daughter moved about 300 miles from us several years ago and I don't see her near as much as I'd like. When she comes home I am jubilant. When she leaves, I'm sad...

I have resolved to not resolve. Do it or do it not...where is no trying as Yoda said!!!

Remember, saying goodbye, means the next time you say hello.

Nancy Ruth I love all your cards over at splitcoast and came over from there. My goal is to lose 20 pounds and keep it off. I lost 100 pounds in 2001 but some of it is back on again. sigh... Happy 2009!

My goal is to organize our house. I got married 3 weeks ago and our house is a mess of wedding presents and we have to figure out how we're going to fit both of our stuff here!

My goal is to take better care of me so I can be around for many more years to take care of my family. It's one goal that encompasses dieting (20 pounds gone since September) and quitting smoking (tomorrow is day one) so my heart and lungs match the life span I want to have....

Good luck to all on your goals and may the New Year bring happiness and light to all of you!!

My goal for 2009 is to get back to family. We moved cross country (Canada) 2 years ago and I regret it everyday. I'm sure leaving was just as hard for your daughter as it was for you.

My goal for the New Year is the same one everyone sets - to lose weight. I know that's a bit redundant - but I am excessively overweight and my health has been impacted because of it - so it's definitely a SERIOUS goal for me this year. The other goal I've set for myself is to speak kinder/more positive words. It's so easy to let the negative burst forth.

I have several, but I don't call them goals. A goal is something you want to achieve and most often don't. I prefer to call them COMMITMENTS. My commitments are to relocate & organize my she-cave (craft room/office); get into shape; & start using up the crafting stash I've accumulated.
Have a healthy & happy 2009!!

Hi Nancy, my goal is to USE my craft supplies, not hoard them!

A goal I have is to deal with Fibromialzia (not sure of the spelling) I was diagnosed with last month. Setting priorities.

My goal is to use mmy supplies impulsively. I hoard too much and save stuff for future projects that will never get done.

One of my goals is to take better care of my body--take all of my medications all the time, take care of my skin, see doctors as soon as needed.
I don't know if it's too late to enter this, but I thought I'd give a shot

About Me

My photo
Hi everyone! My Name is Nancy Levine, known as NANCYRUTH on SCS. I have began stamping 20 years ago, though I put everything in the attic for about 10 of those during the hectic years of my single motherhood. I went to a stamping up party about 5 years ago and the stamping flame was rekindled and i have stamped almost every day since then. I work full time in a lighting store and enjoy my career in sales which allows me to fund my crafting habits. I am also a beader and spend my free time stamping, swimming and making jewelry! I look forward to charting my creative journey through my new blog. Fast forward.... After 13 months of unemployment due to the economic downturn I completed my Therapeutic Recreation certification and now work in a skilled nursing facility creating and implementing recreational programs for the residents. I also had the priviledge of working at Beadz Boutique in Darien Ct. where I fine tuned many of my beading skills!
